Waitikiri Golf Club
This championship Christchurch golf course is situated only 10km from Christchurch city centre and is kept in excellent condition all year round. The surrounding forest environment provides a very attractive location and the club has hosted numerous Pro Am championships.
There are no fewer than thirteen dog-leg holes and over thirty bunkers on the course, many not obvious from the tee. With stunning facilities including a world-class clubhouse. You will delight in a round at Waitikiri Golf Club.
Russley Golf Club
The Russley Golf Club offers an outstanding championship course and practice area in a parkland setting. The course is a long and challenging 18 holes with four sets of tees and features two beautiful yet challenging water holes. The Russley Golf Club is just a few minutes’ drive from Sudima Hotel Christchurch Airport.
Christchurch Golf Club
The Christchurch Golf Club was founded in 1873, making it the second oldest club in New Zealand and certainly one of the best.
Excellent fairways, tricky bunkers and water hazards and beautiful greens await you here. The course is one of the largest in Canterbury, making it also one of the most difficult. Christchurch Golf Club has an excellent pro-shop and pro-coaching is available.
Clearwater Resort
Situated only 10 minutes from Sudima Hotel Christchurch Airport, Clearwater Resort is one of Christchurch’s newest, yet most highly regarded courses. The course was built around a number of man-made lakes and no less than 14 of the 18 holes bring water into the play. Clearwater Resort is the home of New Zealand’s PGA championship and the only US PGA Nationwide Tour stop in New Zealand. Facilities here are nothing short of excellent, including many fabulous practice facilities.
Terrace Downs
A visit to Terrace Downs is well worth the one hour drive from our Christchurch Airport hotel. Along the way, you’ll pass some of New Zealand’s finest farm country. This is an absolutely stunning 18-hole course (long at 6,440 metres), set on the edge of the Rakaia Gorge and against a backdrop of high snow-peaked Southern Alps. Terrace Downs is rated among the top three golf courses in New Zealand and offers international-standard play. The par-72 course has a choice of four tees on each hole and features no less than 70 bunkers and 11 lakes. Before or after your round, you’ll enjoy complete luxury and style, complemented by the finest cuisine in the Clubrooms.
Rawhiti Golf Links
Less than 30 minutes from Sudima Hotel Christchurch Airport, Rawhiti Golf Links is located two minutes from New Brighton Beach. This easy walking course offers you the choice of a 9 or 18 hole game.
Harewood
Harewood Twin Courses offers 36 holes of great golf and is only 10 minutes drive from Sudima Hotel Christchurch Airport. Harewood is set in picturesque grounds and boasts mountain views.
